About the Artist | Shanu Jaiswal
Hi, I’m Shanu Jaiswal, an Indian visual artist creating original, contemporary artwork that is designed to evoke emotion and bring meaningful stories into modern spaces.
Born and raised in India, I have always been fascinated by the way colour, texture, light, and composition can transform a space and influence how people feel within it. This passion led me to study Interior Design, where I developed a strong foundation in aesthetics, spatial harmony, and visual storytelling. My professional journey took me across India and the UAE, where I worked in creative yet highly structured design environments.
Over time, I realised that while design fulfilled my creative instincts, I was searching for a more personal and expressive form of art. About six years ago, that search unexpectedly found its answer when I painted a canvas for my own home in the UAE. There were no expectations or deadlines—only colour, movement, and intuition. That single painting became the beginning of my journey as a visual artist.
Today, my work is inspired by emotion, memory, and the subtle energy of everyday life. Through contemporary paintings, textured art, and expressive compositions, I aim to create pieces that not only enhance interiors but also connect with people on a deeper level.
